Kayla joined us on the Rooftop over 3 years ago as a barback, coming from a retail background, and had never stepped foot behind a bar before. She was incredibly efficient in her role and the bartenders petitioned to move her into a bartending position, helping her to learn techniques and recipes. The Rooftop team decided to formally train her and bring her on as a bartender – and today, Kayla is one of the fastest bartenders you’ll ever meet. She is also the creator of Rooftop’s iconic “Lovelace” cocktail!
